From the ubiquitous CCTV cameras to the data trails we leave with every click and swipe, the concept of a surveillance society, once a chilling dystopian fantasy, feels increasingly like our reality. Our smartphones track our locations, our smart devices listen to our conversations, and our online activities are meticulously cataloged by corporations and governments alike. While often justified by arguments of convenience or security, the sheer volume of data being collected raises serious questions about digital privacy and individual autonomy. Are we willingly sacrificing our freedom for perceived benefits, or are we unknowingly caught in a web of constant monitoring?
